So I downloaded this torrent called Top 40 Singles USA just so I can keep up with what's hip in the States. I ran into Gym Class Heroes' new song entitled "Clothes Off", and it sounded really familiar. Like 80s pop familiar. Luckily with my killer knowledge of one hit wonders I immediately knew where it came from.
Sadly he died like everyone in the 1980s did..from AIDS.
Alright time to download Britney's performance last night and watch it, then head to bed. I have to do cardio and resp exams bright and early tomorrow.
J Status feat. Shontelle and Rihanna - Roll It. It's really difficult to study when this pops up randomly in your itunes shuffle and all you want to do is dance.
Those 5 days in Barbados were the best. Too many stories to tell so you either have to come talk to me directly about it and/or look at the pictures on facebook. Let's just say it got a little too crazy.
Anyway I'm almost caught up with school; I have a few hours left of lectures to watch. My goal is to finish by tomorrow morning so I can watch USA vs. Mexico Gold Cup final.
Alright back to work, but before I leave I shall leave you with a music video.
Fedde Le Grand - Put Your Hands Up For Detroit. I heard this at the clubs everywhere in Barbados. I have a strong feeling this is gonna be heard in a lot of basketball games around the NBA next season. It'll be the next "Zombie Nation" (kinda like how "Zombie Nation" was the next "Sandstorm"; gotta love the electronic dance music).
16 days until my first exam, 18 days until I go to Barbados. Gotta be super studious to make Barbados worth it. In the mean time I want to share you Carib music from a Barbadan artist that doesn't start with "Rihanna". Enjoy.
Alison Hinds - Roll It Gyal. Great song. Rishi Rich made a remake with this song featuring Juggy D.
Anyway pharm sucks monkey nuts, and so does pathology. But no time for those today. Gotta do epidemiology and finish this microbio I started. It's gonna be a nerdy Friday night.
